The last post you'll see on Ping Pong. With this blog, I intended to find something to motivate me to get to know how to use a camera and how to take decent photos. I feel now that I've achieved at least one of those. I'll keep taking photos, and as I do, they will be on my flickr. I have plans to do series with some creative photography in the future. Those will be posted on flickr as well. I'm gonna have to send out a HUGE thanks to the people who visited this site over the past few years. You were quite honestly my main source of inspiration. The amount of vintage thoughtfully designed packaging is enough to inspire, as is the amount of authentic skeleton keys. But don't be fooled. These treasures are found at the bottoms of drawers, mostly. It's my grandparents' old house. They've recently had to move into a retirement home on very short notice (at 93 and 89 years old!). As a result, the house is staying in the family. Tomorrow, I will have a post that is relevant to this news. This will be a huge ongoing task. I'll be renovating like mad to make myself comfortable and to make the house a little more modern (the current house has tacky wallpaper, wood panelling, green musty carpets ... you name it. I love my grandparents, but they were never really concerned with remodeling). I basically grew up in this house though, so I'm going to keep as much nostalgia intact as possible.
