So, here's some big news: I bought a house! It's my grandparents' old house. They've recently had to move into a retirement home on very short notice (at 93 and 89 years old!). As a result, the house is staying in the family. Tomorrow, I will have a post that is relevant to this news. This will be a huge ongoing task. I'll be renovating like mad to make myself comfortable and to make the house a little more modern (the current house has tacky wallpaper, wood panelling, green musty carpets ... you name it. I love my grandparents, but they were never really concerned with remodeling). I basically grew up in this house though, so I'm going to keep as much nostalgia intact as possible.
